Finding a good chicken sandwich out there is hard. Many are two dry. Some have no flavor to the chicken so they try to baste a little sauce on it or it’s drenched with honey mustard or mayonaisse.

I’ll tell you what I prefer. I like one that’s been marinated. Not just for an hour or so, for overnight so the taste goes all through the chicken. A grilled breast is best. I want it nice and moist. I shouldn’t have to take a drink after every bite. I enjoy a little bit of honey mustard, though mayonaisse is good on it as well. A fresh slice of tomato and a leaf of fresh lettuce really help it as well. The bun should be lightly toasted on the inside so the outside doesn’t become too wet from the tomato or honey mustard.

That is my idea of a good chicken sandwich. I’ve tried many different restaurants. My favorite one is from Wendy’s. They usually make them like this. Of course, there is an occasional time that I get one from there that I’m not satisfied with, but most are delicious. I get cravings for these, though I can’t give in because of the expense. Thankfully, Jeremy is able to make an awesome chicken sandwich as well. I’m glad I married such a talented guy.
