A Blog Apart doesn’t have a mission really. We’re just here to collaboratively sift the web, opinionate our selves on a wide variety of subjects, and add just a little to the original content contained in this web.
Our name was, I confess, inspired by the venerable A List Apart, and once, while ABA was on hiatus, I emailed Zeldman to ask him if he wanted the domain. No reply was forthcoming, so I kept it.
As the name implies, I hope this site grows and matures into a blog that is distinctive, set apart, if you will. Although the content here is not secifically Christian, the authors here are themselves Christians. And as Christians we are called to be set apart from the rest of the world, to be distinctive.
