Reason # 1: they are generally ridiculous in their claims, “if you forward this to x people then good things will happen to you” whatever.
Reason # 2: they are like unto idle chatter, they have little to no value or depth
Reason # 3: they waste my time deleting them
Reason # 4: they clutter my inbox
Reason # 5: they dilute the value of actual contact from the people who constantly send them out
Reason # 6: they often put the receiver in an awkward situation where the sender may perceive that they are not liked or appreciated when they don’t receive a reply.
Reason # 7: they spread lies
Reason # 8: pretty much no one bothers to only forward the important part of the email by copy and pasting instead of simply hitting forward, I hate that.
Reason # 9: they are generally superficial interaction between people.
Reason # 10: they show the person who constantly sends them out to be of shallow and excessively flaky personallity, which is often not the case.
